Our shop is right here in Dallas on Monroe Dr, so Dallas is home turf for our crews. From older neighborhoods with worn-out driveways to brand-new backyard patios, we handle it all.

Dallas has just about every kind of home there is, from 1950s ranch houses in Lake Highlands and Oak Cliff to new construction and big custom homes in Preston Hollow. That means we see every kind of concrete problem too: original driveways that have cracked and settled over decades, walkways pushed up by old live oaks, and backyards that were never given a usable patio.
What almost all of them have in common is the ground underneath. Dallas sits on the Blackland Prairie, known for heavy, expansive clay that swells when it rains and shrinks in the summer heat. Concrete poured without a proper base and steel reinforcement cracks and moves with it. Every slab we pour starts with grading, a compacted base and rebar, so your new concrete has a solid foundation under it.
Because our shop is right here on Monroe Dr, Dallas projects are close to home for our crews. That makes it easy to get out for your free on-site estimate and to keep your project moving.
Older Dallas neighborhoods tend to have big shade trees, and those trees are both a blessing and a challenge for concrete. Roots grow toward moisture, and the soil under a driveway or walkway often stays damp, so roots slowly lift and crack the slab above them. When we replace concrete near mature trees, we look at where the roots are and plan the layout and base with that in mind.
Many Dallas homes also have alley-access garages and rear driveways that take a beating from trash trucks and delivery vans. If your rear drive or garage apron is breaking up, we can tear it out and pour a new reinforced slab, and tie it neatly into the alley or existing concrete. For front-entry homes, replacing the driveway and front walk together gives the house a clean, matching look from the street.

DFW Solid Concrete has restored a lot of my faith in contractors. Absolutely some of the best I’ve ever encountered. They also had to keep my neighbors happy, and they managed that as well. It was, after all, a full driveway and sidewalk in small spaces. Excellent work ethic. Excellent finished product.
DFW Solid Concrete is by far the best contractor I've worked with. They've replaced my patio in my Plano's house. The process was straight forward: timing, expectations, and pricing were all communicated clearly. I was expecting delays, last minuth difference in pricing but they have done exactly what they said they will do and were so professional. Definitely recommend them and will use them again!
Definitely I'd recommend DFW Solid Concrete for walkways repairs, easy dealing and fast response. It's good to have them as an option in Allen TX. Thanks for the great job guys!
professional service, looked at the small details and didn’t leave till the job was done to my satisfaction. Will use them again and recommend them to other people.
